Admission Rules
- A child must have completed 2 years and 6 months as on 1st of the April of the forthcoming session for admission to ‘Play-way’ section.
- Nursery : The child should be 3 years as on 1st of the April of the forthcoming session.
- L.K.G. : The child should be 4 years as on 1st of the April of the forthcoming session.
- U.K.G. : The child should be 5 years as on 1st of the April of the forthcoming session.
- Ist Class : The child should be 6 years as on 1st of the April of the forthcoming session.
- Similar criteria will be granted on the basis of a personal interview. However, a written test can also be conducted depending upon the documents submitted for the admission along with the application.
- Registration of a candidate does not guarantee his / her admission and the school administration reserves the right to reject any application for admission without assigning any reason.
- Following registration all the candidates will be notified about the date for the interview with parents and applicants.
- For candidates seeking to admission to classes 3 onwards, a merit list will be drawn on the basis of personal interaction. Since the seats in GVPS are limited, only those who qualified are invited for the final admission formalities.
- Siblings of present Greenites are however given priority during the admission.
Admission to 10+1
Admission will be purely on the basis of marks obtained at the Secondary School Level.Document Required
- Recent colour passport size photograph of the child (4)
- Recent colour passport size photograph of the Parents/Guardians.
- Transfer Certificate in original of the previous school.
- Progress report of the previous school.
- Indemnity bond by the parents (format available in application form)
- Medical Certificate duly signed by Medical Officer. (format available in application form)
Withdrawals
- If a child has to be withdrawn from the school, at least one calendar month notice in writing is required. In case of failure to do so, one month fee will be charged. If the child is withdrawn after the beginning of the academic session, one clear calendar month extra fees will be charged.
- One time charges (Refundable ), if any, will be refunded at the time of withdrawal of the child from the school on production of the One time charges (Refundable) and Deposit Receipt along with an application on the prescribed form, provided all school dues have been paid in full or settled satisfactorily. Refund of One time charges (Refundable) will have to be claimed within a year of the date of withdrawal of the child from the school.
- Those who leave the school in the month of May must in all case pay the fees for the month of June.
- Transfer Certificates are not issued until all the dues of the school are settled (i.e Accounts , Class Teacher, Library & Sports I/C)
STUDENTS CAN BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL ON THE FOLLOWING GROUNDS
- Disciplinary
- Detention or repeated detentions in a class. As a rule, only those students will be retained on the roll of this school who can take the school leaving examination and are under 18 years of age.
- A student who fails twice in the same class, will not be permitted to continue his / her studies in the school.
