Participation in different kind of sports helps students to be active, healthy and strong. It also benefits mental health as well as maintain their energy balance. Students engage in physical activity have stronger immune system which prevents them from minor or major illness.
Sporting activities are the integral part of curriculum in the school. Students of K.G to Grade 12 are encouraged to take part in various sporting activities throughout the year. Each house has got teachers in charge, teacher members, students in charge and student members.
The physical training period allotted to each class is eagerly awaited by the students and forms an integral part of the curriculum. All such activities channelize the surplus energy of youngsters towards a positive direction. It also helps in inculcating a sense of discipline.
Our students actively participate in competitions at the Inter house, Zonal, District, State and National levels in the games like GATKA – (Sikh Martial Art), ARCHERY, VOLLEYBALL, KHO-KHO, ATHLETICS and much more.
